Aquafresh Iso Active Toothpaste
This wonderful new toothpaste has been on sale every where. This week I was able to use a printable coupon. They still have $1.00 "smartsource" coupons available. Go to http://www.pricechopper.com/, choose coupons, and it is in the list of printables. These coupons can be used anywhere, not just at Price Chopper. This week the new Aquafresh Iso is featured at Walgreens and comes with a register reward. There continues to be a $1.50 SCR at Rite Aid for the month of September. In the near future I will be reviewing some products that are provided free of charge by producers and large companies. When I start doing this I will always disclose that I have been supplied something for free in exchange for a review and blog buzz. While I fully intend to always give an honest opinion, I think it is fair for readers to know if I find something and love it -vs- get a product for free to try. Today I am providing my humble opinion on toothpaste. This stuff is amazing!! A little goes a long way, it foams, so try to get a pea sized amount (unless you want to appear rabid and foam at the mouth). I haven't paid more than 25c for tooth paste in about a year, so 50c for this may seem steep (haha)- but oh so worth it.

Free Philosophy
Are you a Philosophy fan?? I have been hooked since their first Todays' Special Value on QVC (a long, long time ago). They have 2 great promotions this weekend!!! Go snoop HERE add ANYTHING (yes anything. $1.25 bottle pump, $3 make up accessory, $8 Smores Lip gloss). Use the following codes at checkout LABORDAY (free shipping on any order- $5.99 min. value) and 8hello09 (free 4-oz. Purity Made Simple cleanser. The 3oz bottle retails for $10.00.). Add LABORDAY first, then add the next code. It will take both codes. I love the lip gloss (Smores is on sale $8- a $4 savings). No Tax for out of state, Free Shipping, and $10+ in free product, a $4 discount on a product I love and I got to pick 2 free samples from a rather long list= One Great Labor Day Deal!!)

Rite Aid Deals 9/4/09
The Rite Aid sales ad was fairly uninteresting this week. So uninteresting that I was really pulling at straws to come up with a post. With that said, I am lucky these great deals were still left on the shelves this late in the week (Friday afternoon). Everything in the picture was a super deal (minus the chips).
- Duracell Batteries (4-8 pks marked with yellow tags). $6-9/pack. Use $1.50 coupons from 8/30 Sunday inserts. I bought 2 packs in 3 transactions. It is complicated, but there is a $2 SCR this month. I will submit one for me, one for my mother and one for my mother in law. In the end it will be like buy 2 get 1 free. A good deal for digital camera batteries in my opinion.
- Glade Candles and Scent Products. The Reed Scent Diffusers on sale for $4.49- This is amazing! They are always $9.99-$12.99. If you log on to http://www.redplum.com/, change your zip code to 90210, print 2- $3/1 Glade coupons you can bring these home for $1.49.
- Or you can take home a FREE Glade Candle (with Redplum $3 coupon). I took the last 2 from the Rt.3 Rite Aid shelves, but word on the street says they are still in stock at the Skyway Plaza location. They are also free with coupon at Walmart (if you can stomach a trip in).
- 2 pc PJ sets marked down to $7.99 from $12.99. Cute for a gift (mostly S-L sizes left).
- Honey Bunches of Oats BOGO, use http://www.coupons.com/ to bring home 2/$3. This is the first time I have paid more than 50c a box on cereal in about 8 months, so it was painful, but they were for someone special- so I guess the joy of giving should ease the blow:)
- Aqua Fresh new tooth paste $2.99, used $1 printable, will get $1.50 SCR. Nearly free- the packaging is great. It looks like some sort of "foam"- I will try it after dinner and report back.
**Check back later for a RARE event, Details on my trip to WALMART (GASP! I am still trying to recover! I HATE WALMART! The Traffic, The Congestion, The Coupon Nightmare!)
There were some super deals though!!
**And the Brand New- ALL YOU Magazine is in**
Check back for a list of featured coupons- the best $2.49 you can spend!

Two Target Trips- So Good I have to share pics!
Before I get to the good stuff I have to share- There were still 3 Leap Frog Tag systems with featured book when I left. And the $3 coupons work perfect!!! They match right up to the system and do not require a song and a dance to use! I incorrectly listed the price as $39.99 full retail earlier, but I was wrong- these are marked down from $49.99. The new package design Tag's, two rows down are selling for just that- $49.99. So with the coupon I linked to in my last post, I paid $9.56 for the kit with a book. I missed the pink and blue option, but green will make a fine gift!
Now on to my shameless brag. The 2 pictures show everything I bought (via cash and coupon). Had I payed full price the subtotal would have been $217.09. Factor in great clearance, promotions, and coupons and my grand total out of pocket was the small sum of $58.79 and I got back a $5 Target Giftcard!
I even picked up some shoes, 2 pairs of pants and 2 SONY DVDs for Emma! This trip allowed me to take advantage of all the deals I spotted earlier today! What fun!! I Cant wait to hear how well everyone made out at Target today and tomorrow!!
There are so many good deals on the clearance end caps!!
Thankful Its Thursday! Target Deals!!!
Throw any self restraint you have out the window, get in the car, and head to TARGET (Plattsburgh NY). I would gladly do just that on just about anyday of the week, but if you have started your Christmas shopping or if you have been clipping all of the "Target" coupons out of the Sunday Paper inserts today Thursday 9/3/09 is a super day!
Target publishes weekly printable coupons on their web page every week, but The Folks at Organic Grocery Deals keeps a data base that will make printing multiples of each coupon a breeze! You can print as many of each as you want. For some reason Target registers prefer them when they are NOT printed in full color. Black and White is the way to go.
Here are the Highlights complete with price, coupon matchup, and physical location in the store (for Clearance Deals):

You can print as many of each as you want. For some reason Target registers prefer them when they are NOT printed in full color. Black and White is the way to go.
Here are the Highlights complete with price, coupon matchup, and physical location in the store (for Clearance Deals):
- Leap Frog Tag Reading system- Less than $13.00 (I didn't write it down, but $12.58 rings a bell). This is down from $39.99. The sets include a book, and comes in green, pink, or blue. There were 12 left on and endcap in toys- right near the bikes. This would make a great gift for the preschooler in your life!! The following idea may not work, but is worth a try. Leapfrog has a $3 coupon off of any Tag book HERE. Since most of the Tag systems in the clearance display featured a specific book on the packaging, this coupon may work. I would not try the coupon on one of the systems that does not advertize that a book is included. For an additional 25% off It can't hurt to try. Please let us know if you have luck with the coupon!
- Crest White Strips (Trial size, too many Sunday Paper insert coupons to count for $3-$10 off. Find one that does not limit trial size) $4.89 on an endcap near Pharmacy.
- If you have coupons for any electronic toothbrush (Gun, Crest Spin Brush, Colgate 360) there are scads of them on the same pharmace endcap-prices at $2.36-$4 (great stocking stuffers).
- SONY DVD movies marked $5 (many titles-click here for $2 coupon and list). You can print as many copies of the coupon as you want and they scan with no issue! The title list is helpful, since they are mixed in with all of the $5 DVDs. I think these are great gifts and stocking stuffers.
- Last Sunday there was a $2.50 coupon in the Albany paper for Shout (Target only). This can be paired with anyone of the 35c-$1 coupons from the Sunday paper's in July and August to score a FREE FULL Size Shout Product (this makes any variety free with the right coupon combo).
- Special K. There are great coupons on http://www.coupons.com/ and http://www.couponbug.com/ for special K crackers, cereal, and snack bars. Most are on sale for $2.36-$2.39 this week. Some are on sale for $1.99, but those will not work for the SUPER deal I am about to explain. This week if you buy 4 you will get a $5 Target Gift Card back at the register. I picked up 2 boxes of Special K Blueberry Cereal and 2 boxes of their new granola bars (marked $2.36 on sale). I used 4- $1 off printable coupons from the links above. I also used 2 Target Printables (under 9/12 exp.) for an additional $1/2-Target Printables. So here is how the deal breaks down: Product Total $9.44- $4 manufacturer coupons-$1 Target coupons= $4.44 out of pocket. The Cashier gave me my $5 gift card. I took home all 4 products and will realize a 66c profit after I use the gift card!
- The Edy's Ice Cream Deal- from earlier in the week is still available. I was out of Sunday paper coupons, but printed 5 Target coupons for $1/each. The Ice Cream is on sale for $2.50-Target coupon=$1.50each. If you buy 5 you will get a $5 Target Gift Card back at the register. $7.50 OOP with $5 in return gift cards for 5 Yummy 1/2 gals of Ice Cream is a great deal in my book.
- End Cap near Pharmacy- many clearance toothpaste deals, some makeup, and a handful of odd pet outfits. Most of the toothpaste is near free after coupons. Since I have over 60 tubes of free toothpaste I didn't pick any up. Do you live near Cadyville? Do you need free tooth paste? Drop me a line- I would be more than happy to share!

Vocalpoint- a surprise in your mailbox!
A few month's ago I signed up to participate in Vocalpoint "Try&Tell" program. I can remember the first "surprise" pack that arrived- A box full of "magic" that contained an individual serving of Kellogg's Shredded Wheat, 1 coupon for a free box of Kellogg's Shredded Wheat, 4 coupons for BOGO Boxes of Shredded Wheat, and 5- $1 off coupons. It was so much fun to share the coupons with friends and family. We enjoyed our FREE product and were pleased with our first "Try&Tell". Since then Vocal Point has faithfully sent another surprise pack every 2-4 weeks. I have been able to try The BOUNCE Dryer bar, Kashi Products, Kelloggs Rice Krispies, Cleaning Products, and a handfull of other things for FREE. Every package is chuck full of high $$ coupons to share and most shipments contain coupons for completely free items. After we Try the product I just log on to write a quick review or take a very brief survey to Tell about the product. Their concept is simple and they increase the frequency of free products to Try as you build a history of Telling and sharing your opinions.
Today they are featuring this book (CLICK to link)- "What I Know" by Roger Fishman. A few month's ago I took a survey about the book's concept and after watching the video I cannot wait for a related "Try&Tell" to arrive! VocalPoint is sponsored by Proctor&Gamble, a company that makes most of the featured products. Check out the video and then head over to VocalPoint to sign up.
