Walmart= Another Coupon Policy- Another Reason Not To Bother!

Walmart has updated their coupon policy but I guarantee it will take a Miracle for their employees to even catch wind of it for atleast 6 months.  I hate Walmart and their inability to learn new (simple) policies and procedures is nuts!
Here's a run down, just incase you feel like shopping there and educating their staff.
  • The following coupons are accepted by Walmart, no questions asked:
  • Manufacturers coupons (e.g., SmartSource, Red Plum inserts, etc.)
  • Printable coupons (e.g., Coupons.com, RedPlum.com)
  • Competitors coupons for a specific item at a specific price
  • Soft drink container caps
  • Catalina coupons identified as “manufacturers coupons”  (Price chopper, target, Walgreen's)
The following coupons will not be accepted by Walmart:
  • Printable coupons for free products (i.e., no purchase required)
  • Competitors coupons for dollars/cents or percentage off, buy one get one free, and double/triple value coupons
There are a few simple guidelines to keep in mind when using coupons at Walmart:
  • Only one coupon per item.
  • Coupons must list an expiration date and be redeemed prior to the expiration date.
  • Coupons may exceed the purchase price. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the cart purchase. this is ver batim from new rules- sounds like great fun!
  • Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase.
Last, manager or supervisor approval will be required in the following cases:
  • 40 or more coupons being used.
  • Use of a coupon with a value at or above $20.
  • Redeeming $50 or more in coupons in one transaction.
I may go in with some coupons guaranteed to get a refund at checkout just to see if they will do it. Anyone else game for an evening meet up to storm the store and see how much we can get and then get a refund??

The Big Sleep- Happy Halloween

Wow- Walmart is certainly trying to corner many markets at the moment.  CLICK HERE to check out their new line of caskets (yes you read that right!). For $1199.00 delivered to your door you may want to order multiples?? Or Not!  If you are planning for your final Rollback you may want to check them out.  If you are into throwing massive Halloween parties this might be a great investment.  I wonder if they do free site to store delivery.  Can you imagine picking this one up?

Walmart-

Oh I know- I hate Walmart too!  Mostly, I love the deals, but hate the traffic mess and the mobs of people.  But if you venture there between the hours of 7-10am wonderful things can happen.  Check out Deal Seeking Mom's CLICK HERE 9/17 post- complete with coupon links and matchups.  Her list is genious and it should pay off well.  I personally will likely not venture in, but if you like Walmart and have the time there are great deals to be had!!
