Books are the greatest gifts on earth. I love them. I give them for every occasion and love to find them in packages addressed to me. (With the exception of one book gift. Funny story- The gesture was great and still much appreciated, but the event rather interesting. This spring I was given a Thank You gift that included a journal- here is the interesting part- it was for a Cancer Patient. It was beautiful and thoughtful and I am sure it would make a lovely gift for a Cancer patient...The whole event had me scratching my head and saying "Do I look that bad?"...In summary I concluded that the gift was not based on a poor obervation or assumed medical condition- it was purchased and given by a male. I think he saw pink and flowers and truly tried to do something thoughtful.)
